Essence - Grunge me tender

Essence-Grunge-me-tender-bottle
This is a polish from the new Floral grunge TE from Essence. There are five polishes, each has different finish, in this TE. This was the only one that was a must-have for me. It's the suede. I have had some troubles with the application, because I'm used to use thin coats, and with thin coats it's very streaky. But when I tried thicker coats, magic happened! No streaks, it applied like butter. So, I started with four coats, and on the other fingers I have just two(lesson learned). It dries super fast and of course, it dries into suede finish. I'm really happy I got this one, it's really very unique colour - light pastel green with gorgeous silver/white shimmer.

And I had to try it with a topcoat too =)

I topcoated only middle and little finger, so show the difference, which is much more visible IRL.

And the brush:

Here it looks much more greener due to the flash.

For me, this polish is a must-have and tell you, get it, if you can!

NOTD: Catrice Denim moore + comparison

Denim moore is one of the Catrice new polishes. I love this colour! Somewhere between purple and blue <3 This are two coats. The application was easy and I have to say I like the new brush. Please, ignore the redness of my hands, I had to alter the pic a bit to get the most accurate colour =)

Here is a comparison of the brushes:
Top to bottom:
The oldest Catrice brush, old Catrice brush, new Catrice brush, new Essence Colour&go brush, old Essence Colour&go brush.
The brushes are getting wider and wider. For me it works great, but if you have smaller nail beds this might be a problem.

I tried to find something similar in my stash, and the only one that was really close is Essence I'm bluetiful. Colour wise they are the same, but I'm bluetiful has silver glitter.

This pic is not really colour accurate, but you can see how close they are =)

NOTD: Essence - Elves like lilac

Essence-Elves-like-lilac

Can I just say I lovelovelovelove... this polish! Such a gorgeous, vibrant purple with blue shimmer. The first pic is more true to colour, the second one shows the shimmer. This are two coats, but someone might have enough one thicker. Believe me, if you are a purple lover you need this one! It's from their Fantasia LE.

China glaze Sweet hook + Essence More than words

Ah, my love <3 I so adore polish shades like this! I've got a bunch of them, some lighter some darker, more pink, more purple, and I adore every single one of them. I'm hopeless I know =)

Anyway, I wore this polish last week. Yup, the whole last week. And, after a week it still looked amazing! So, this are two coats of China glaze Sweet hook:

Then, on Thursday I saw a post on MUA with Essence More than words polish from their Hugs&Kisses TE. And I loved it so much I had to get it right away. So, I put it on top of Sweet hook:

As you can see, there's no tipwear, no nothing, it looks like I just painted it on. AMAZING I tell you =) And the picture I took the day that I took it down, so after a week:

You can see the gigant gap between cuticles and nail polish, but absolutely NO TIPWEAR! I even had trouble getting it off with polish remover.I wonder if it's the polish or basecoat or top coat or the three combined...who would know =P Anyway, I used Poshe Basecoat and Essence Better than nails top sealer.

Lia, welcome!

My friend gave birth to her baby girl last week. They named her Lia, and she's such a beautiful baby! And a good baby too, they sleep all nights(luckyluckylucky). I, of course, made an manicure in Lia's honour.

I have to say, I loved this manicure! I wore it as long as I could(I think about a week), and I'd wear it even longer, if it didn't chip.

I used a bunch of polishes for this:
Sally Hansen Countess creme for pinky and pointer; China glaze White out, Bourjois #19 and Color club She's so glam for the dots
OPI Show it and glow it! and Essence Cotton candy for middle finger
Bourjois #19 and Teeez Smooth for ring finger

The tools I used:
dotting tool, sponge and nail art stripping tape

I'm back!! =)

So, I've been MIA for a while now. This was beacuse everything that was going on in my life. There were some seriously bad stuff, but I'm back in the game! Everything is not back to okay just yet, but I know it'll be allright. I didn't even polish my nails a lot during this time, but I'm starting again =) So, yes, I'm back(happy to be back).
